The Museums, Libraries, Cultural Affairs and Recreation and Amenities Select Committees are referred to in Section 11 of the Council's Financial By-laws and the purpose of the amendments is to change the titles to Cultural Services and Recreation Select Committees.

2. MR. KENNETH T. C. Lo, CHAIRMAN OF THE RECREATION SELECT COMMITTEE, moved the following motion:
'RESOLVED that the Public Swimming Pools (Amendment) (No. 2) By-laws 1980 be made under section 42 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.'
He said (in English):-Mr. Chairman, as Chairman of the Recreation Select Committee, I rise on the motion standing in my name:
"THAT the Public Swimming Pools (Amendment) (No. 2) By-laws 1980 be made under section 42 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, Cap. 132.'
Electronic timing equipment has been installed in four of the Council's swimming pools, namely Victoria Park and Morrison Hill on Hong Kong Island, and Tai Wan Shan and Morse Park in Kowloon. The purpose of the amendment before Council is to introduce a nominal charge of $100 per occasion for the use of the equipment. The charge represents only 33% of the maintenance cost of the equipment.
