event in this programme, with the Hong Kong Life Guard Club giving Mr. TINSON was first appointed Secretary in September 1965 and full support by providing demonstration teams in lifesaving, diving and has been with the Council ever since. I can say without fear of synchronized swimming: scientific swimming will also be demonstrated, contradiction that all Councillors have found Mr. TINSON unfailingly together with other novelty items.

Photographic talks will be given at our new Kai Tak Stadium and a painting competition for young children is being arranged.

Our heartfelt thanks for all of their support in arranging this Youth Week which should be a great success.

We all earnestly hope that young people will find the large variety of items to be presented during the Youth Week to be to their liking and that the public fully enjoy themselves.

It is with regret that I inform Council that, for our good friend and long-time Secretary, Mr. J. A. M. TINSON, this is his last meeting.
