column of the attached Schedule be delegated to the Select Committees shown in the first column for the period up to the commencement of the first meeting of the Urban Council in April, 1971.
(4) Under Section 60(1) of the Urban Council Ordinance that the powers of the Council under Section 59 of the Ordin- ance to change by appointment or removal the personnel of each Select Committee be delegated to that Select Committee:
Provided that each such change shall be reported to the Council at its next meeting."
He said:-Ladies and Gentlemen, I arise to move the motion standing in my name as item 4 on the order paper regarding the terms of reference, appointment of Chairmen and composition of Select Committees for 1970-71.
Membership on the various Select Committees and the terms of reference have been agreed by the Standing Committee of the Whole Council. There is only one significant change to be made for this coming year, and that is the City Hall Select Committee will change its title to Cultural Affairs Select Committee. This change of title will reflect the function of the Select Committee more accurately.
