than two life-saving attendants evidently must apply to pools which are out on hire to the public, where members of the public, upon payment of a fee, could be admitted. Evidently, the Select Committee concerned would not consider with favour any application from commercial pools. The view is taken that this condition might be relaxed in the case of a private club with a limited membership, otherwise it would, in effect, create hardship for that club.
The question was put.
