HONG KONG URBAN COUNCIL

MR. CHEONG-LEEN :-Of course, if the Chairman is willing to I think we would need no moral persuasion to follow him, especially the Elected Members ! In supporting the motion you mentioned that you might not necessarily agree with some of the suggestions which I put up by way of illustrating how this campaign can be dramatized. Some of them will not be suitable—

CHAIRMAN:-Yes, I fully understood that.

MR. CHEONG-LEEN:-The point I would like to make is that these suggestions have been carried out very successfully in other cities in the world.

The question was put.

The motion was carried unanimously.

ADJOURNMENT.

CHAIRMAN:-That concludes our business for this meeting. Council stands adjourned until Tuesday, 6th January.
