Dear Fairclough,

(7) on '49

Will you please refer to your letter No.54485/49 of 9th March, addressed to Darracott concerning the claim by the Government of Hong Kong for flour requisitioned in 1945.

2.

I am writing now, in continuation of Darracott's conversation with you on 10th March, to say that we now have obtained Treasury concurrence to our proposal to meet the claim in full (approximately £4,627) and we are telling the local Naval authorities to arrange payment accordingly with the Government of Hong Kong.

3.

I am copying this to Hosie.

Yours sincerely,

A.J. Fairclough, Esq.,
