Grateful for your approval of a grant by private treaty to the Church Missionary Society Day Schools Committee of about 10,000 square feet of land at Nan Chang Street, New Kowloon, on the following terms:-
(1) Normal New Territories Lease term.
(2)
Nominal premium.
(3)
(4)
Normal Crown rent at the rate of 1,600 per acre.
Building Covenant of $150,000.
(5)
Use of the land to be restricted to the purposes of a school.
(6)
(7)
No assignment, mortgage or other alienation of the property to be permitted without the approval of Government.
The land and any buildings thereon to be subject to reversion to the Crown without compensation in the event of any breach of the conditions.
2. The purpose of this grant is to enable the Church Missionary Society Day Schools Committee to establish a primary school which will serve the north-western corner of the Kowloon peninsula. Executive Council has approved. am satisfied that you may properly approve this grant.
