2. The terms of reference of the Committee are:-

(i) To make recommendations regarding the allocation or re-allocation of the Recreation Grounds listed in the Table in the Second Schedule of the Pleasure Grounds and Bathing Places Ordinance, No. 29 of 1936, to Associations, Clubs or other recognized Bodies or to Persons hold- ing Statutory Offices.

(ii) To advise Government whether in the public interest any alterations in the security of tenure of particular areas are advisable to meet the special needs of certain Associations or Clubs.

(iii) To make any other recommendations which the Committee considers advisable regarding Recreation grounds and Playgrounds generally in the Urban District.

Clubs and Associations are invited to send applications for the allocation of Sports Grounds to the Secretary of the Committee, Mr. B. J. B. Morahan, C/o Defence or before the 16th January, 1950. Force Headquarters, Lower Albert Road, on Applicants should note that, owing to the great scarcity of recreation grounds, this in- vitation carries no guarantee that their wishes can in every case be met.
