In our letter of even reference dated 30th March last it was explained that further consideration was being given to the outstanding balance of the claim. It would now assist us, if you could obtain from Hong Kong, details of the disbursement of the £105,000. Perhaps you would be good enough to ask them.
Would you also arrange for a copy of Appendix 'E' of the Governors Despatch of 10th April 1947 to be forwarded. This Despatch was originally sent to us under cover of your Office letter 55136/90/47 dated 23rd April, 1947.
