If July, 1951.

Dear Seymour,

Thank you for your letter of the 7th June about the Hong Kong Government's claim in respect of requisitioned railway materials, in which you ask for details of the disbursement of the £105,000.

I anclosed oopies of Hong Kong savingrams in my letters of the 5th January 1950 and the 25th August 1950, both of which gave considerable detail of the disbursement of the £105,000, and I am very doubtful whethor Hong Kong could produce any further informa Sion.

I understand that you did recoiva

these enclosures, and in the circumstances I hope you will be able to settle this question without further referohoc being made to the Governor.

I am enclosing a copy of Appendix "5" of the Governor's despatch of the 10th of April 1947 as requested.

Lt. Col. G.V.Seymour, 0.B.E.

Yours sincérely,
