LONDON, S.W.1,
Dear Sirs,
ENGLAND.
TO BE ATTACHED TO "PERSONAL INJURY" CLAIM Form W DL 2
I would refer you to my letter of January 31st 1948 written while I was at the Shanghai Club, Shanghai, to the War Claims Dept., H.B.M. Consulate General, Shanghai,
stating that I was leaving for Australia and giving my future address as "c/o Bank of New South Wales, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia" in reference to my "Personal Injury Form WDL-2", and also a separate letter on the same date to the same effect covering my "War Damage Claim", your Shanghai Consulate Receipt No. 3591.
This is to advise that I have now returned to HONGKONG, and shall be remaining here and shall be glad if you will register my new permanent address as follows on both these Claims:-
B.P. Dillon
c/o Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China
Queen's Road,
HONGKONG.
I attach copy of this letter for file against the two claims.
I should greatly appreciate your acknowledgment of receipt of this letter, and also your advice at the same time whether there is any news regarding the settlement of these claims. I have suffered considerably both in health, and in loss of household effects and I would be very glad to know what the prospects are of these claims being settled.
Thanking you for your kind advice, and trouble,
Yours truly,
B. Perry. Dillon,
B.P. DILLON.
