I request your approval of a grant of about 7,000 square feet of land at Lung Kong Road, Kowloon City, to the Kowloon City Christians' Church for the purpose of building a school on the following terms:-

(1) Usual New Territories Lease term of 75 years
from 1st July, 1898 renewable for a further term of 24 years less the last 3 days.
(2) Nominal premium.
(3) Normal Crown rent for the area of about $190.00 per year at the rate of $1,200.00 per acre.
(4) Building covenant of $100,000 to be completed
within 12 months,
(5) Restriction on user to the purpose of a non-
profit making school.
(6) Prohibition against sale, mortgage, sub-lease
or any other form of alienation without the previous consent of Government.
(7) Reversion to the Crown without compensation in
the event of any breach of the conditions of the grant.
No compensation to be payable in respect of any land required to be resumed for a public purpose.
I am satisfied that you may properly approve this grant. Executive Council agrees.
