and works of any kind and to purchase on lease or otherwise acquire and to hold manage cultivate improve lease exchange mortgage or otherwise dispose of or deal in any estate or interest in real or personal property and gener- ally to lay out housing settlements with all necessary and ancillary amenities,
(c) to establish and carry on any trade or business for the supply or training of occupants of the company's property which may be conducive to the company's work or enhance its value, to make or deal in furniture fittings utensils and other effects and to provide and conduct any clinic dispensary school or any other form of activity which may promote or be ancillary to the objects of the company,
(d) to contribute or raise money upon such security and in such manner as may be considered expedient and in particular to borrow or raise money by the issue of debentures or debenture stock whether charged or not upon all or any part of the undertaking and property of the company and to draw accept make endorse and issue bills of exchange, promissory notes other negotiable instruments,
or
(e) to acquire by subscription purchase or otherwise and to accept and take hold and sell shares or stock in any company, society or undertaking the objects of which shall either in whole or in part be similar to those of this company or such as may be likely to promote or advance the interests of this company,
(f) to establish support aid or contribute to the funds of societies institutions establishments funds trusts and conveniences which are cal- culated to assist the promotion of the company's objects or to benefit the tenants or occupiers of the company's property and to subscribe for charitable or benevolent objects or for any public general or useful object,
(g) to enter into and carry into effect any arrange- ment for joint working or for amalgamation with any other company or any partnership or

person or institution carrying on any form of activity within the scope of the objects of this company,
(h) to invest the moneys of the company not imme- diately required in such manner as from time to time may be determined,
(i) to enter into any arrangements with any govern- ments or authorities supreme municipal local or otherwise that may scem conducive to the company's objects, or any of them, and to obtain from any such government or authority any rights privileges and concessions which the company may think fit or desirable to obtain and to carry out exercise and comply with any such arrangements rights privileges and con- cessions,
(j) to do all or any of the things hereby authorised either alone or in conjunction with others or as trustees or agents or by or through trustees or agents,
(k) generally to do all such other things as may appear to be incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above objects or any of them.
4. The liability of the members is limited.

Every member of the company undertakes to con- tribute to the assets of the company in the event of the same being wound up during the time that he is a member or within one year afterwards for payment of the debts and liabilities of the company contracted before the time at which he ceases to be a member and of the costs charges and expenses of winding up the same and for the adjustment of the rights of the contributories amongst themselves such amount as may be required not exceeding one hundred dollars.
The income and property of the company, whence- soever derived, shall be applied solely towards the promotion of the objects of the company as set forth in this Memorandum of Association; and no
