Dear Mr. Hall,

I thank you for your letter of March 19th and I apologise for my delay in replying to it.

I agree to the terms of service offered by the Government of Hong Kong, as stated in your letter, for my appointment as consultant on the preparation of a scheme for treatment of the municipal wastes by composting methods.

I am prepared to travel by air on the understanding that, in accordance with normal practice, the Government will bear the cost of personal accident insurance to cover my period of service.

So far as my own arrangements are concerned, I shall be ready to take up the appointment on Thursday, ..pril 12th. This date should also allow sufficient time for the special preparations, such as inoculations, about which I shall communicate tomorrow with ir.. uastel of the Crown Agents.

Yours sincerely,

Laurence P. Brunt.
