I propose negotiations with Brunt should be caducted by Crown Agents. Person named has stated he has insufficient staff to deal with scheme of size under consideration and is negotiating to ally himself with firm of consultants. Relations which will subsist between him and consultants are not yet known nor who will be responsible party. If he is
ha obliged to submerge his identity in that of consultants do you wish the consultants to be engaged on your behalf?. If so please supply further details e.g. do you wish full and complete detailed plans, specifications, contract documents prepared so that on completion consultants will be in position to invite tenders for work?. If and when tenders have been invited and contracts placed should consultants undertake further services e.g. inspection of equipment atc. ordered here and supervision of constructions in Colony?. Fullest information is required as Consultants, if engaged, will require to be fully briefed and their feea arranged.
