With reference to my telegram No. 412 of the
23rd March I have the honour to transmit to you one sealed copy and six prints of Letters Patent, dated the 16th March, passed under the Great Seal of the Realm amending the Letters Patent of the 14th February, 1917 constituting the Office of Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and providing for the Government thereof.
2. I have to request that you will be good enough to acknowledge the receipt of this despatch and its enclosure, and report to me the date on which the Letters Patent are brought into operation.
