I have received a copy of your letter of 27th January
(9) or '49. to A.J.Jones of the Ministry of Transport (54337/49), about
Harbour Craft at Hong Kong.

Is there any other reason besides the fact that the Governor of Hong Kong may eventually refer to the same
subject in the course of a despatch which will be a "corollary" in the consideration of reinforcement-finance, for sending
me this enormous document?. If not, it is obviously unnecessary for me to spend taxpayers' time on it.
