The cost of these items is averaged weekly. prices taken are those ruling in the four main markets of the Colony. The rice and flour figure is based on the cost of 2.45 catties of rationed rice, 1.05 catties of rationed flour and 3.70 catties of free market rice. These figures are published weekly in the press.
