Mr. Paskin said that it was not possible to say as no action could be taken until the signing of the Japanese Peace Treaty and the passing of legislation in the Colony giving authority to take over the Japanese assets there. It would also depend. on the type of assets involved and whether they were in the form of property or cash. Sir A. Morse said he was particularly interested as he would have to invest the proceeds and he would like to begin this task as early as possible so as to ensure the maximum income for the University.

Mr. Paskin then closed the meeting.
