This grant, together with the interim grant of £50,000, already approved under Scheme D.1557, is to be administered on the basis of the nine sub-heads listed in Appendix A; but it would be permissible to meet any excess on Subhead III from savings on Subhead IX, or vice versa, without prior reference to the Secretary of State, and a similar re-allocation between Subheads VII and VIII would also be within local discretionary authority.
