Dr. T.S. Sze is at present studying in England on a Leverhulme scholarship in preparation for filling this post. He has agreed to return to Hong Kong in June 1950 for a probationary period of two years.

The formation of this Department has been approved in principle by the Council.
at the present time funds are available from Consultation Fees to pay the Technical staff. It is expected that the University will ultimately assume responsibility for their payment.
