the balance of the C. and M.E.S. grant during 1951/2 and I assume that what you really meant was that you would like to see either up to £250,000 voted as necessary in 1951/2 or that you meant "in the 1951/2 estimates or in later years". I should be grateful for a firm view as soon as possible as to the amount you propose should be included in the C. and M.E.S. Vote for 1951/52.
