Expulsion of Undesirables Ordinance.
I agree with your arguments in paragraph 2, especially in view of recent events in the Korea theatre. I note position on frontier as reported in your latest appreciation for week ending 19th July. If a sudden deterioration in the security situation occurs you are authorised to implement the Ordinance at your diseretion without further reference to me, provided that you are advised by your military and police Advisers and those responsible for security, that the security situation makes it essential to do so forthwith. Please inform me and Peking immediately should this course become necessary.
