Repayment of Building Grant.
Conditions:
for payment of
Building grant.
(b) that the school will be managed in accordance with
the Grant Code in force for the time-being, and
with all other Regulations for the Conduct of Grant
Schools;
(c) that no mortgage has been or will be taken on the
premises without the prior approval of the Director
of Education;
(a) that if they should hereafter desire to release
themselves from the foregoing obligations, or if
the school should cease through fault or action of
its own to be an approved Grant School, they will
repay the whole amount of the Building Grant received, and if the site was granted on special terms will make any additional payment in respect of the site that Government may consider proper.
50.
An approved Building Grant is payable when the
P.W.D. has certified that the building is satisfactorily
completed according to the approved estimates and specifications, and when a certificate (with balance sheet. annexed) is presented by the trustees or other legal
representatives of the school setting forth that the
building and covenants are completed and that the money in
hand will, when added to the grant, meet all claims and
finally close the account. If the Contractors require more
than half the total cost to be paid in advance, Government
may pay part of the Building Grant before the building is
completed.

51.
Repayment of
equipment Grant.
FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT GRANTS.
A grant may be made of not more than half the cost
of furniture and equipment which in the opinion of the Director Education is necessary for any course of instruction approved by him.
If the school ceases to be an approved Grant School, the legal representatives of the school may be
required to refund all the Equipment Grants received less a
sum for depreciation to be decided by Government.
