Dear Fairclough,
Hong Kong Financial Conference
At the meeting held at the Colonial Office on 3rd May, 1950, it was agreed that copies of the relevant War Office lists of stores should be sent to Hong Kong, and I agreeä to provide the lists in question.
I now enclose four copies of the lists of civil affairs stores to the value of 4,175,251 8s. 5d. put into Hong Kong up to the cut-off date. As stated at the meeting these lists were compiled from shipping documents relating to despatch and we have no other information in the way of stores received or of their ultimate disposal on arrival at Hong Kong.
Yours sincerely,
