Following our telephone conversations on the subject of the stores accounts for Hong Kong I enclose the dossier in the case; the list of stores claimed by the War Office to have been despatched to Hong Kong, i.e. Appendix 3 of Hong Kong Savingram No. 1042 of the 27th September, 1950: I think you will find the War Office letter to me of the 11th October, 1950, which commented on this dossier, of considerable assistance to you. This letter was War Office No. B.M. 6108 (F.1) and was copied to Fairclough of your Department.
