Dear Mr. Eckett,
Please refer to the last paragraph of my letter of the 22nd October about the small outstanding item of $72 in the B.M.A. Accounts.
I enclose a copy of a savingram from Hong Kong on this subject, from which you will see that this amount was an item in the Hong Kong Government's account, and had no connection with the Hong Kong Whampoa Dock Company Limited.
This explanation, if satisfactory, will I think settle the last of the outstanding items of the B.M.A. Accounts.
