(f) The Air Officer Commanding has suggested the
provision of Spitfires for the H.K.A.A.F. at a cost of roughly half a million.
(g)
There will be an increase in the cost of education
in the current year. Grants to non-Government
schools will be increased because of the increase in cost of living allowances, and further provision has to be made for primary education.
It is probable that the final accounts for the financial year 1950-51 will soon be available, but I have not delayed this report for them.
