The Director of Education, Mr. T.R. Rowell C.B.E. Broadcasts at 7.15 p.m. in “Saturday Round Up.”
Open Days at Schools. A large number of schools are inviting parents and
guardians to visit them during Education Week.
Special Radio Features. Broadcasts of some of the events and interviews with well-known residents. Full details will appear in the Press.
Inter- schools Dramatic Competition. The names of the winners in the English
and Chinese sections will be announced in the Press.
Free Cinema shows for school children. At the following Theatres:-
Queen's, Liberty, Lee, Alhambra, Roxy, King's. Kwong Wah, Taipo and Tai Kwong Ming, through the generosity and cooperation of the Directors of these theatres and of the Film Distributors and the Public Relations Officer.
