Expenses incurred by Cable and Wire- less Ltd. for providing telecommunica- tions services. Revised accounting procedure involving re-allocation of funds.
Vacancies and changes in staff.
New supplies charged to Loan funds. Savings effected due to lower muster in latter part of year. Special warrant was to meet 1946/7 supply which was not now charged. Fewer executions.
High consumption of gas at Victoria Remand Prison for cooking purposes. Fewer prisoners eligible for gratuities. Recruiting expenses incurred in United
Kingdom.
