Wireless Ltd.
Finance Committee has approved a supplementary provision of $1,300,000 to cover charges by Cable and Wireless Ltd. for telecommunications services in 1949/50, on the basis indicated in paragraph 3 of my telegram
22101/12/48 No.916 of 5th October, 1948.

Provision is made in the 1949/50 estimates
for this expenditure under Head 25C subheads 1 to 10 and Head 22 subheads 5 and 12. Your covering approval
for the re-allocation of these funds is requested in
(25) 54126/5/45 accordance with your despatch No.302 of 25th September,
1948.
