treet,
Dear Darracott,
Will you please refer to may letter of the oth December about a claim by the Government of Hong Kong in respect of flour requisitioned in 141.
ke you may know it has been suggested that Follows, the Financial Secretary, Hong kong, should come to the United Kingdom in pril to discusc various claims outstanding both by the united kingdom on Hong Kong and by Hong kong on the United king con. This requisitioned flour claim is one which will be discussed.
I have consulted our own Legal Advisers and they are of the opinion that the Bon ong Goverment elaiu 18 is e good one. In the circumstances I would be grateful to snow hat your view is on this question so that we can make as such progress as possible before Followb comes to the United ingdon.
I am copying this letter to Hudspith and Hosie.
Yours sincerely,
A.
