As Jefferis promised when Radford called on 24th January, 1949, to discuss the claim by the HONG KONG Government in respect of the British Section of the KOWLOON CANTON Railway, I am sending herewith copies of the signals and correspondence selected from our files. These are :
(a) Cipher telegram from C. in C. Middle East to
G.O.C. Hong Kong, TNS/76308 of 26th June, 1941.
(b) Cipher telegram from C.in C. Middle East to C.in C.
India, TNS/76307 of 26th June, 1941.
(c) Letter from Hong Kong War Supplies Board to Director General of Transportation, reference P1/55 (2) of
16th October, 1941.
I do not intend to add to what has already been written on this subject as you know the situation, and I hope Radford's visit
