Dear Jetters

You asked in your letter to Wallace of the 12th July whether any progress had been made as a result of our Savingram No. 235 to Hong Kong on the subject of railway materials requisitioned in 1941. We have as yet heard nothing from Hong Kong by way of reply; we recently sent them a reminder, and I will let you know as soon as we hear anything further. We too are anxious to see this matter settled.
