You wrote to me on the 2nd
February enclosing a letter dated the 14th December, 1948, from Mr. A.R. Osborne together with a number of documents which I am now returning to you concerning Mr. Osborne's representations in regard to War Damage losses in Hong Kong.
I enclose for your information a copy of a savingram recently sent to the Governor of Hong Kong, from which you will see that the Governor is being requested to see that Mr. Osborne receives a suitable reply to his letter to the Board.
