A Parliamentary delegation consisting of Lord Ammon, Lord Amulree, Mr. McLeavy, Mr. Harrison, Mr. W, Roberts and Mr. M. Lindsay will visit China during October.
20 The party will not touch at Singapore on the outward journey. For the return journey it is expected that they will leave Hong Kong on 9th November, arriving Singapore following day, and leave for United Kingdom an 12th November.
30 Mr. Harrison and Mr.Mcheavy are anxious to leave plans at Bingapore and return by sea. This will involve 10 days stay at Singapore which might prove & valuable opportunity of studying local conditions. I should be most grateful if you would arrange accommodation for whole party from 10th to 12th November end for Me. Harrison and Mr.McLeavy for the remainder of their 10 days stay.

I understand that financial considerations might make it impossible for Mr. Harrison and Mr.Mcbeavy to take full advi ısage of their sojourn in Singapore, Should you fee (ɔle
le to offer hospitality, I am certaja that it would e appreciated to the full, and your interest would ensure that their stay in Singapore was as profitable as I should liks it to be, Possibly Governor of Malayan Union would be willing to arrange visits to contiguous areas on the Mainland.
