The Executive Committee of the Inter-University Council considered this application at their last meeting, together with the despatches No. 30 and No.55 on file Nos. 54147/49 and 54403/2/2/49 respectively.
On this particular proposal for the hospital scheme the Executive Committee agreed that they could not support a proposal that funds for the hospital scheme should be found from the Colonial Development and Welfare higher education allocation which they considered should be reserved for directly educational schemes and not used for the provision of health services.
I have attached to this file the architect's drawings which I temporarily borrowed.
