Translation of K. 2.

Autobiography of TSE KIN (2), 24 years, native of HOKSHAN District.

"I commenced my schooling at the age of eight. I entered the TAT TAK

INSTITUTE in Autumn last year through the introduction of Mr. TANG WAI K (★★1⁄2 my olanaman. The most ideal teacher to me is Mr. TANG CHO MAN (√p 70 k/), head o. the Political Section, I like to read progressive books. My first books were "Outline History of Social Development", "People's Philosophy", "Outlook"of Life" which I show much interest. I devote my self in the studying of progressive books and I begin to hate the slavery education of former days.

Three months after I entered the TAT TAK INSTITUTE, the People's Liberation Army started their major counter-offensive. I was moved by the development of the new situation and the appeal for returning to the rural areas. Being a revolution- ary youth, I should devote myself to the Revolution. With a view to receiving the counter-offensive great army, we should develop armed struggle in rural areas,

When I determined to return to rural areas, I joined the "New Youths" through the introduction of CHENG SAN (†), my classmate, also submitted my autobiography. Comrade KI FONG CHI ( †† 2 ) who contacted me, told me that the superior had approved my application and a form was handed to me to be filled in.

I also introduced SIU FONG (and CHUNG YUI (42, $), my schoolmates

in TAT TAX to return to the rural areas and both of them have written their auto- biographies.

In order to get ready the travelling expenses for our trip, each of us obtained $1,000 odd from our country homes, After repaying our debts, we purchased the necessities for our trip. We three also contemplated to raise fundsfor the purchase of arms and we consulted with Comrade KI about this matter. •
