I now agree that Hong Kong may be removed from the list of exceptions in Protocol of Cignature to Consular Convention if United States Government agree to pive an undertaking that, if ever they dinpose of the long acquired in Hong Kong under the serua of the Convention, they will offer it back to the Government of Hong Kong on terms regarding valuation at such date to be specified in the undertaking. I an addressing the American Consuì General in Hong Kong to enquire if the United States Government will give such an undertaking.
