Dear Ruston,
Your letter, 54385/47, of 3rd February addressed to Mr. McGill on the subject of the repair of the statue of Queen Victoria in Hong Kong, has been passed to me, as at present I am dealing with matters of this nature.
I am in touch with a firm of Art Metal Founders who may be able to help and I expect to let you have a report on the matter shortly. I have passed on to this firm the memorandum attached to the Governor's
(1) letter dated 31st December and shall be glad if you
will let me have the second copy, which you say you have available, for my papers.
Yours sincerely,
Wotaming tin
