Dear Miss Ruston,
You will recollect I (5)
wrote to you on the 26th February
enclosing copies of a report from the Morris Singer Company with regard to the proposed repair of the statue of Queen Victoria in Hong Kong.
I take it that you
forwarded the report and enclosures to the Government of Hong Kong, from whom further instructions are still awaited, but perhaps you would be good enough to confirm this so that I can keep my papers open.
Yours sincerely

area in which this and other Royal statues were formerly sited.
It is hoped to discuss this proposal with Sir
2.

give expert advice on town planning.
