Como Lands. Resumption
Mr. Radford
I am sorry that we have not been able to get this forward to Mr. Dale while you have been away. It has taken a very long time to trace the whereabouts of Jack's Digest for which Mr. Dale asks. It is now found to be registered on file 72867/30 which has been sent for.
Miss Self has I think collected all the other relevant papers namely:-

Miss Self has looked at certain despatches
on Crown Land as far back as 1889 but they do not appear to be of much use in connection with (1).
As you say, it is difficult to trace all the instructions given by the Secretary of

I hope that these papers will enable Mr. Dale to advise on (1)%,
