Your telegram 1666 shipment of small craft. I find it difficult to press Admiralty about this matter as terms detailed in Admiralty letter No.M/SVP/ET were relevant to conditions in force prior to establishment of a Civil Administration and also in view of your provisional acceptance of the charges referred to in your telegram No.1108.
2. You will of course appreciate that the cost of these crafts has been borne by H. M. G.
3. In the circumstances you may consider that the charges in question should be met from H.K.Government funds as delay in meeting the charges pending the outcome of further correspondence on this matter with the Admiralty might endanger early shipment of crafts.
