ORDINANCE NO. 13 of 1935 (PUBLIC HEALTH [FOOD]).
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 5 (5) of the Public Health (Food) Ordinance, 1935, the Urban Council makes the following amendments to the by-laws under the heading "Sale of Milk generally and Dairies and Milk Shops
set forth in the Schedule to the above-mentioned Ordinance:

AMENDMENTS.
The following additional by-law shall be inserted immediately after by-law 18:
18A. (iii) The loss of any register shall be reported without delay to the Secretary, Urban Council, or to a Health Officer or Health Inspector.
2. The following additional by-law shall be inserted immediately after by-law 19:-
19A. (1) A Health Officer may order any person engaged or employed in any capacity in any dairy to submit himself for such medical examination at such time and place as may be designated by the Health Officer aforementioned.
(ii) If, after medical examination, it is the opinion of a Health Officer that employment in a dairy has caused, or is likely to cause, spread of communicable disease to man or animal, the person so medically examined shall be notified in writing by the Secretary and he shall forthwith cease to engage in the business of, or to be employed in, any dairy until he obtains a medical certificate that he is no longer likely to cause spread of com- municable disease to man or animal.

(iii) It shall not be lawful for any dairyman to employ any person who, in accordance with paragraph (ii), is deemed to have caused,
likely to cause, spread of communicable disease to man or animal. Made by the Urban Council this 16th day of March, 1948.
