Sir,
At a meeting held on Saturday 15/3/47 to inform the newly
returned Pre-War Officers of what action had been taken regarding
the Memorandum, the following proposal was made :-
"That the proposed salary scale contained in the reply to
the Memorandum should be raised by 25% all round"
On being seconded and put to the meeting a unanimous vote
was returned.
I would therefore request that this information be forwarded
to Government so that it be added to the scale already submitted.
