With reference to your Memorandum dated the 24th.
December 1946, I am directed to inform you that Government has extended the period of consideration to a final date of 15/2/47 in order that consultation may be made with wives who are not
in the Colony.

I am to make clear that Government cannot discuss any
revision of the terms in the Memorandum
