With reference to your Memorandum dated the 24th.
December 1946, I am directed to inform you that Government has
extended the period of consideration to a final date of 15/2/47,
in order that consultation may be made with wives who are not
in the Colony.
2. I am to make clear that Government cannot discuss any
revision of the terms in the Memorandum.
3.
I am further directed to obtain a clarification of
para. 3 of your memorandum and I requested a further communication
on this point.
