As a result of the meeting of Pre-War officers held en

Saturday the 2let. December 1946 the following resolutiens were

made:-

1.

It was unanimously agreed that the time limit given te

comply with the Venerandum is insufficient, whereby study,

discussion and exchange of views with officers absent from the

Colony iɛ lapossible.

That the enforcing of the scheme proposed by the

Mederandum ehould be deferred pending the result of discussion.

It was unanimously agreed that the terms of the

Meaerandum should be fefused and a s cheme nere favourable and in

keeping with the prerent policy of Government drawn up and

submitted to the authorities.
