I attach for your information a table showing
the proposed re-allocation of duties amongst gazetted police officers if these proposals are approved.
The previous
organization is set out in Mr. Penne father-Evans' report attached to my confidential despatch under reference.

The additional cost for the financial year 1946/47 is estimated in the neighbourhood of £6,500 to £7,000 but the actual figure will be reduced if officers from the Inspectorate receive promotion and the resulting vacancies in the Inspectorate are not filled.
