Nature Reserve.

I suggested some few years ago that an area, including the Bride's Pool and Dragon's Pool, the streams below each and the woodland adjacent, be fenced off as a Nature Reserve. There would be rights of way through but no cutting or grazing rights. There should be a resident forest ranger with one or two assistants whose job it would be to conserve and improve the area on lines determined by the Department. Rest House could be built in the area under the control perhaps of a Natural History Society, which will probably be established after the war. One day there will be a road to Plover Cove from Tai Po Market; the area should be marked out long before the road is built and no person should be allowed to build house or bungalow within or in view of the Ke serve.
